A New Homepage
A brand new homepage longly awaited (at least by me), that will host most of my projects, articles and any other sequence of bytes I may have written during those numerous sleepless nights—thus the name of the website.
I haven't posted all the existing content in the respective sections yet, neither have I finished describing extensively my WOS Engine and MetaWeb projects, but this will hopefully be fixed in the next weeks. The reviews section is already up-to-date, and the Sweden Blog has gone back to life with a brand new post. More will follow.
The other important section to notice is the Song of the Week, which will present a new song every week, from the latest underground must-have album to the oldest cult track that you should know even if you were not born when it was released.
The first piece of trivia I will link here is an amusingly uninsightful open letter written back in 1976 by Bill Gates, in which he whines about people pirating his software. It includes hilarious quotes such as:
Who can afford to do professional work for nothing?
Nothing would please me more than being able to hire ten programmers and deluge the hobby market with good software.
Bill Gates, 1976
While we are still waiting for the good software, we notice that he hasn't been whining much about piracy lately. He probably concluded that infecting the planet through piracy is a good marketing move, and that quality is a superfluous hassle nobody cares for. Or is it?
The second link will point to a cool videoclip for She's A Study, a great pop'n synth piece by TV Eyes, a new underground act formed by crazy musicians regularly playing with Beck (whose new album will be release soon).
Happy browsing, and do not hesitate to send me comments, remarks, ideas or questions if any occured to you.
