No matter what you may think, the length of the title of the track has nothing to do with my choosing it as the song of the week. Doubtlessly the most beautiful track of Starseed's debut album, Parallel Life, Heavensairportcoffeeshoprestaraunt is an aerial masterpiece of ambient electronic music.
Slowly unveiling like a dream landscape, layers of synth-lines and choir voice build the soft base for the electronic blips accompanying the melody and a comforting bass. Then comes the smooth voice of the singer, caressing the listener's ears sensually. The song creates an ethereal atmosphere, culminating in multiple climaxes before it fades away, as if it had only been a musical hallucination. All in all, a fabulous love song to cosmic infinity.
Other ambient tracks abound on the album, as well as a few more pop songs (Timequakes, another agreable revelation of this album). A definitive must-have for any chill-out fan.
